It costs you nothing extra

Affiliate commissions are paid by Amazon out of their margin —the price you pay is exactly the same whether or not you use our link. It's simply a way to support the work behind this site at no cost to you.

What we link to

The affiliate links here point primarily to our own books — the six volumes of The Spice Pharmacopeia — on Amazon. Our recommendations reflect the project's own work and editorial judgement; we don't link to products simply because they carry a commission.

Advertising

In addition to affiliate links, the site displays third-party advertising (such as Google AdSense). These ads are served by third parties and are kept separate from our editorial content. How advertising cookies work is described in our privacy policy.

We also sell our own books

Alongside the affiliate links and the advertising, we sell our own ebooks directly on this site. That is a third commercial relationship and it belongs on this page too.

We do not carry advertising on our own product pages, and we do not place affiliate links inside the books themselves — a book you paid for should not be trying to sell you something else.

Our promise
