Terms of Use
Last updated: 17 August 2026
Welcome to IndiSpice-Atelier.com (the "site"), operated by IndiSpice Atelier ("we", "us"), a sole trader registered at 8 Claymore Loop, Dalyellup WA 6230, Australia. By accessing or using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Not medical advice
The content on this site and in The Spice Pharmacopeia — including all discussion of spices, compounds, Ayurvedic tradition, and published research — is provided for general educational and informational purposes only. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for professional diagnosis or treatment.
Spices and their active compounds can interact with medications, medical conditions, pregnancy, and allergies. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making changes to your diet, supplement routine, or health regimen. Never disregard or delay seeking professional advice because of something you have read here. References to research are summaries for context and do not constitute a clinical recommendation.
Recipes and your own judgement
Recipes are offered in good faith for home cooking. You are responsible for checking ingredients against your own allergies and dietary needs, and for safe food handling, cooking temperatures, and the use of any appliance (such as a pressure cooker or air fryer) in line with its manufacturer's instructions.
Buying an ebook
Paddle.com Market Ltd is the Merchant of Record for every purchase made on this site. When you buy an ebook, your contract of sale is with Paddle, not with IndiSpice Atelier. Paddle handles payment, applies the correct sales tax or VAT for your country, issues your invoice, and processes refunds. Paddle's name appears on your receipt and your bank statement.
Payment, billing and cancellation are governed byPaddle's buyer terms, which you accept at checkout. Refunds are covered on our refund policy page.
Prices are shown in US dollars. Ebooks are one-time purchases — there is no subscription, no recurring charge and nothing to cancel.
Buying an ebook gives you a personal, non-transferable licenceto read it on devices you own, and to keep your copy indefinitely. The files carry no DRM, which is a deliberate choice made in good faith. You may not resell, redistribute, publish, or share the files publicly, and you may not use them to train a machine-learning model.
Acceptable use
When using this site, you must not:
- use it for any unlawful purpose, or in breach of any applicable law
- attempt fraud, including fraudulent purchases or chargebacks, or use the site to send spam or unsolicited messages
- infringe our intellectual property or anyone else's, including by copying or redistributing our books or articles
- interfere with the security or operation of the site — including probing, scanning, or testing its defences, introducing malware, attempting to gain unauthorised access, or scraping it by automated means
- submit another person's details to any form on this site
Suspension and termination of access
We may suspend or withdraw your access to the site, and to any files purchased through it, if you materially breach these terms, if payment fails or is reversed, if we identify a security or fraud risk, or on repeated or serious policy violations. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why first.
Intellectual property
All content on this site — text, recipes, articles, images, branding, and the design itself — is owned by IndiSpice Atelier or used with permission, and is protected by copyright and other laws. You may read, share links to, and print pages for personal, non-commercial use. You may not republish, redistribute, or use our content commercially without our written permission.
Affiliate links and advertising
As an Amazon Associate, IndiSpice Atelier earns from qualifying purchases. Some links to products are affiliate links, which means we may receive a small commission if you buy through them. This never changes what you pay.
The site also carries third-party advertising, supplied by Google AdSense, on articles and recipes. Advertisements are not endorsements. We do not choose which specific ads appear, they are selected automatically, and their presence says nothing about whether we recommend the advertiser. No advertising appears on our ebook pages or on any page where you give us your details.
Our editorial content is independent of both. See ouraffiliate disclosure for full details, and ourprivacy policy for how advertising cookies work.
Third-party links
We link to external websites, including Amazon and cited sources. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, products, or practices. Following an external link is at your own risk.
No warranties
The site is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, and we do not guarantee any particular level of availability. While we work to keep information accurate and current, we make no warranties, express or implied, about its completeness, accuracy or reliability.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, IndiSpice Atelier will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site or its content. Nothing in these terms excludes any rights or guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted, and the "last updated" date above will reflect the latest version.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia, and you agree to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
